My Friends

List of friends is very long. I can divide it in to several groups.

RUCS group

In Roorkee, all of us were in same class . We were comparitively unspoiled in nature and somehow bonded together . Since then we are tight friends and are for, and will be for each other in thick and thin. Our group was christened "Children Society"by some "very grownup" "jealous" guies :-) in the final year . I love being CS member and am very proud of it.

Pranav-The oldest member of the CS and my long-time friend. We met in our 9th standard and are having wonderful time together since. After panki we both joined the same college University of Roorkee ( now IIT, Roorkee ) in the same branch. Our fun level was at all-time high when we spent out nights chatting at our Panki Officers colony bus-stop. Memorable moments! Miss u a lot panna. Presently working in TSMG(Tata Strategic Management Group), Mumbai and hogging all the chicken he can get his hands on.He has finished his MBA from IIM, Indore in 2004 Feb.

Sambhav-Indiana Jones or India Na. Met him during the counselling while standing in the queue and the first impression was this guy is a yankee.Total kid by his heart. Holds the most travelled record in our CS right now (which I aspire to beat soon ) . Has been to US and Europe. I took a trip to Los Angeles to meet him .We had lots of fun , driving to las vegas etc etc. Presently working in Infosys, Banglore. He got married to Ekta.

Ashsish-Most people know him only as chu chu. The best cricketer our children society has got.He has completed his MBA from IIM, Banglore. Planning to become a family-man soon -Way to go chu-chu, get hand-cuffed :-). Met him at his kanpur home when I went back to india for a month vacation in Nov '01.

Anshul-He is our Bawla Professor. Very moody and very kiddish. If he gets angry, Bramha has to come to earth to cool him down. Just finished his MBA from IIM, Lucknow. He will be joining mycompany, TCS. Long stories he ditched TCS then joined ICICI and after that finally Amex.

Alok-The most athletic person in our CS. Now working for EIL. No contacts for a long time . Guess Pranav is in touch with him.

RUCS Members

Wing Friends

This list is very big but I will quickly give a short list of friends who made a difference in the wing..by their extraordinary talents like ..suvriving without bathing for 2 months in a row..etc etc etc.

Papa Jee-Pops or Shailendra Kumar . Presently working in Sasken, Banglore. Enjoying life with her daughter Ani. I have had some unforgettable fun with him at hostel . Plays cards damm well , and is always ready to play.

Anoop-One of the 2 dashing personalities in the wing (other one is Me ). Presently he is stealing hearts of B'lore babes. Plays cricket very well ( as per his claim - though people have other opinions ). Presently working in Oracle, Hyderabad.Recently got married. Now a days he is in cloud #9.

Arun-The 'Backchod' of the wing. Without his 'backchodi' wing remains silent. Presently working in VSNL, Bombay and giving training to NIIT babes.

Amit-Now he belongs to Uttranchal. He generally remains silent. But not always. Presently working in TCS and deputated to Singapore

Nimit-He is called BUGs of the wing. Read books a lot. Plays carom very well . Had been to US quite a few times last year .After completing his MBA from IIM,L one of the best managment institutes in India, he is working in CTS, Banglore.

Ankit-He is the khatuli man. I have spent a lot of time playing carom with him. Very quiet in nature. Generally you can see Jain duo (AJ-DJ) togather. He is working with Infosys. He has also engaged very recently.

Deepak-He is the buddy of the wing. Presently working in SAP, Banglore and recently got married. People know him as DJ more than his name.

Ashu-He is our own chu chu sharma. Very hard working guy. Presently working in TCS, Delhi. I will never forget him and his message in FM in 1998 Valentines Day.

Kapil Singh-KS, the most hot blooded person in the wing . He joined a core company called Jindal Steels but later switched to software field. Now working in Infosys. Got married recently bought Car and apartment in Pune.

Vibhor-He is ganghor. Anoop use to call him like this. After finishing his MS he is working in Boston.The loudest singer in the wing.

Agree-People know him as agree. He is the quietest person in the wing. But now a day he has become most aggressive person in the wing. Presently working with HCL Tech, Chennai.

Rupam-My branch mate, who hates to take bath. Always gets up late in the morning and skips his breakfast. We always fight on deciding whose handwriting is better ( obviously mine ! ) and in few occasions I have proved it also with the help of a neutral judge.

Gaurav-People use to call him, as Gandia. He likes English songs. After college he joined IBM, Pune. He has finished his MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Now he is working for ITC, IT group. He is been to UK and now he is in US.
